FAQ’S

It is elaborated with minimally processed ingredients (fresh meat), is free of cereals (gluten), artificial preservatives, antioxidants, flavorings and colorings. What’s more, it is SINGLE PROTEIN, and its ingredients are limited. In this way, we reduce the risks of food allergies or intolerances appearance.

Fresh meat is highly palatable and offers essential nutrients in their most natural form, making it a valuable ingredient for pet food.  Because fresh meat is not subjected to any treatment, except the maintenance of the cold chain before its use, becomes an ingredient with a better digestibility and a greater density and quality of nutrients than other protein sources subjected to a previous dehydration process. Furthermore, fresh meat provides extra flavor, since all the juices and aromas of the meat remain within the final formula.

Both fresh meat and meat meal have their place in high-quality pet foods. Fresh meat enhances palatability and provides high-quality nutrients, while meat meal ensures a high protein content and nutritional density. We use both fresh meat and high-quality meat meal in our Super Premium pet foods to provide a complete and balanced diet.

Our carefully crafted recipes ensure your pet gets the best of both worlds, with optimal protein levels and essential amino acids for a healthy, happy life.

FOS (fructooligosaccharides) and MOS (mannanoligosaccharides) are prebiotics, a type of fermentable fiber that stimulates the growth and activity of certain beneficial microorganisms in the intestine (such as Lactobacillus, Bifidobateria, etc.), thus promoting the balance of gut microbiota and, therefore, a good intestinal health.

Probiotics are live microorganisms that manage to establish themselves in the complex environment of the gut. These bacteria, as they develop and increase their presence, compete for adhesion sites and nutritional resources with pathogenic microorganisms, and this is how they manage to limit their growth potential. Furthermore, probiotic strains stimulate the local immune system and excrete short-chain volatile fatty acids, which in turn promote a lower intestinal pH and promote the multiplication and enzymatic activity of enterocytes, thus improving the barrier function and their absorptive capacity.

If prebiotics and probiotics are administered together, a symbiotic effect is achieved, because prebiotic fibers serve as food for probiotic microorganisms, thus helping them to establish in the complex environment of the gut.

Salmon oil provides many health benefits to pets.  Salmon oil is rich in EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), long-chain omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which have well-known anti-inflammatory properties (very useful in cases of osteoarthritis, atopic dermatitis, food allergies, obesity, etc.). Furthermore, these fatty acids are essential during neural development, prevent and slow down the age-related cognitive dysfunction, have a cardioprotective effect, and improve the quality of the skin, achieving a shiny coat.

  • The growth period differs greatly depending on the breed. The smaller the breed, the sooner the puppies will reach adulthood, and this depends on how long it takes for the development of the musculoskeletal system. For practical purposes, the change from puppy food to adult dog food will take place more or less in the following periods:
  • Small Breeds (1.5-10 kg adult weight) 8-10 months
  • Medium Breeds (10-25kg adult weight)  12-15 months
  • Large Breeds (25-45kg adult weight) 15-18 months
  • Giant Breeds (>45kg adult weight) 18-24 months

However, you should visit your veterinary to confirm it. He/she will recommend the best time to start feeding adult dog food based on your dog’s specific needs.

  • The best way is to do a gradually mix by increasing the amount of the new food with the old food over a period. This is called gradual transition.
  • You can start by mixing the new food with your usual brand and gradually increasing the new food proportion and decreasing the old food, until your dog is only eating the new food.
  • We recommend you make the switch from 7 to 10 days. This will give your dog time to adjust to the new food.
